Fontana Village Resort & Marina features lodge rooms and cabins. Lodge rooms include cable television, a desk and armchair, a coffee maker, a hairdryer, and individual toiletries. Cabins provide kitchens, linens and towels, dishwashers in select cabins, living rooms, and private porches with seating. Cabins are pet-friendly. Both cabins and lodge rooms are smoke-free. Select lodge rooms have fireplaces, outdoor patios, or balconies. The Azalea cabin features a master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath, along with a second bedroom containing two twin beds and an additional full bathroom. The 4-bedroom Hemlock cabin accommodates four couples or two families.

Signature breakfast dishes include Two Eggs Any Style with bacon or sausage, root vegetable hash, and a buttermilk biscuit; Smoked Trout & Tomato Grits; and Buttermilk Pancakes. Hazel's Dinner, served Thursday to Saturday, features starters like Shrimp Cocktail and Carolina Trout Cakes, and main courses like Seared Sea Scallops & Root Cellar Mash and Campfire Baked Trout Pack. The Quill's Canteen offers lunch and dinner, featuring regional specialties and North Carolina classics, including Carolina Trout Bites, Smash burgers, and pizzas. The Dam Coffee House serves coffee, espresso drinks, and pastries. The Fontana Ice Cream Parlor serves ice cream, sundaes, and milkshakes. The Dam Garage provides snacks and hot food.

Fontana Village Resort & Marina provides activities including a mini-golf course, an arcade with games like Big Buck Hunter Reloaded and Jurassic Park Arcade, hiking and mountain biking trails, a disc golf course, and tennis and pickleball courts. The Stone Creek Pool and Lazy River are open seasonally. Mountain bike rentals and E-bike rentals are available. Guests can also enjoy shuffleboard, trout pond fishing, basketball, and sand volleyball.

Fontana Village Resort & Marina is in the Nantahala National Forest and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, 90 km from McGhee Tyson Airport. The resort is on Fontana Lake. It's crossed by the Benton MacKaye Trail and close to the 'Dragon,' known as a curvy mountain road.
